Nightfall Djinn farming, where?
I've tried Dasha Vestibule, cannot farm in hard mode due to the angelic bond used by the paragons in there. At least doesn't work with 105hp RoJ, 600hp still to be tried though.
So i'm asking the community is there a decent spot to farm Djinns in nightfall? Should be farmable with a monk or warrior.
Not asking for a build, just a location
edit: talking about Diamond and Sapphire Djinns, that are supposed to drop Vabbian Defenders.

I once read you can 600/smite the hidden city of Ahdashim. I know near the outpost that they're all rubies and waters, but as you go in further in you'l get the paragons (although im sure you can 600/smite them because i read that the paragon boss could be 600/smited :S)
Il try my best to find where i read that so you can get some skill suggestions for the djinns.
EDIT:
Hm i found a 55's guide to killing the boss but that isn't what i once read.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User:.../Farming_Guide
Sadly my monk didn't take the hidden city route so i can experiment, but i definatly read something about 600/smiting that area.

Yeah i remember that i saw somewhere about 600'ing the hidden city, but couldn't find anything.
My problem however might have been that i aggroed the whole first room, which resulted in 4-5 paragons spamming angelic bond = impossible to kill anything
thanks for that link btw.
edit: though, that's for killing the para and dervish boss in there, don't know how effective sliver is for killing the normal dervish/para djinn's in there :-/

lewis91 is correct; I have vanquished the whole area [Dasha Vesitbule explorable] several times on a 600/smite. You don't really need to do anything special for the area once you learn the basics of that build. Just run up the middle and hang a left to the treasure room if you only care about the djinn.

I used to do the Vestibule with a 55 Monk, I'll have to jump in to see if it still works.

hmmm. Have to go in and try it but angelic bond has a 30 second recharge so while it may take a while the boss should be doable.

Hidden City is easily 600/smite-able - I used to do it all the time..the only problem I ever encountered was if you were trying to vanq - there may be one or two frog healers leftover, which now shouldn't be a problem with PvE-only skills such as EVAS, or EVSS to take them out. But, if you are only there for the djinn, then don't even take that tunnel to the frogs...the majority of djinn are hanging about in the middle route in the main "plaza" area and further along into another area with all of the magic carpet bridges. There are lots and lots of opportunies to get FDS's (pulled a perfect insc one out of a chest there) and I've had plenty of nice skinned paragon shields drop there as well.

600/smite (with hero) worked indeed fine, even though i've never 600'ed before, i died only once.
Done the groups at start + paragon boss twice now, only white shields so far (high q, max AL) and 1 gold scythe - don't know if the hero is eating any good drops :P

55 necro works very well here also if you want a challange (i usually die once to get to 13 hp to make it alittle easier)

the djinns can be farmed there in hm fairly easily if you are carefull.
If you have spellbreaker up the ruby djinns weapon dmg wont trigger spirit bond - it can be done with adding healing breeze and just for them dont use spell breaker - use hb just to get thru burning and any other spell dmg usually triggers spirit bond. You can also just use spellbreaker and rely on hb to pull thru but it can take longer .

I use my Necro to 55 the Djinns in Hidden City HM. Any group consisting of 2 roaring ethers is very hard if not impossible, but a group with only one is doable as long as you hit the ether first with Spoil Victor and just cast your enchants when you can. I've never tried for the boss here as he is surrounded by more ethers every time I go in. Great farm for dust as well as a tiny chance of Rubies or Sapphires or Diamonds from essences, and an occasional fiery dragon sword drop. And yes, tons of Vabbian Defenders.
A note - I can NOT farm this area without 15AL armor and Spirit Bond on my bar. The Diamond Djinns and Ruby Djinns aren't the problem per se, it's the burning stacked with the Sapphire's scythe attacks that does it. Once the Sapphires are gone from the group I don't need to use Spirit Bond much if t all. I attack in this order- Ethers, Sapphires, Rubies, then Diamonds, which will seem to take forever but Diamonds and Sapphires will heal/buff themselves and each other so best to get the weaker Sapphires out of the way first.
[Protective Spirit][Healing breeze][Spirit Bond][Necrosis][Spoil Victor][Essence bond][Balthazar's Spirit][Mending]
I don't run a 55 monk so sorry I can't provide a better build/advice for you
